Neon Surge
Neon Surge โก
Survive the code. Master the explosion. Initiate system reboot.
Welcome to the void. Neon Surge is a high-speed tactical demolition puzzle set within an unstable, tech-noir data grid. As the terminal wall rises, you must deploy specialized mining protocols to trigger explosive chain reactions and prevent the system from reaching critical mass.
Note: While fully playable on mobile devices, the speed and precision required for higher levels is best experienced in a desktop browser.
๐ฎ How to Play
- Drag & Snap: Position your shape using mouse or touch.
- Execution: Release to stamp the shape onto the grid.
- Prevent Breach: If the neon wall reaches the top of the terminal, the surge is complete and the system fails. โ ๏ธ
โจ System Components
The grid is populated with specialized data segments requiring distinct tactical approaches:
- ๐ด Volatile Units: Impacting these triggers a 3x3 explosive chain reaction. ๐ฃ
- ๐ก๏ธ Armored Segments: Reinforced blocks that require two hits to clear.
- โ๏ธ Cryo Units: Neutralizing these activates Surge Protection, freezing grid growth for 5 seconds.
- ๐พ Glitch Blocks: Unstable data that teleports to adjacent open spaces every few seconds.
- โ Dud Signals: Watch for Red blocks in your shape. If a Dud hits an enemy, it repairs and reinforces them with armor.
๐ฅ Power Overlays
Occasionally, you will receive Green shapes that initiate high-energy laser protocols:
- Directional Lasers: Clear entire horizontal or vertical lanes in a single high-frequency pulse.
- The Green Cross: A dual-axis blast that clears its entire row and column simultaneously.
- Tactical Clipping: You can position shapes partially outside the grid boundaries to drop "Duds" harmlessly off-screen while keeping your lasers on target, or to remove those otherwise hard-to-reach blocks in the corners.
๐ Choose Your Protocol
- ๐ Surge Mode: Real-time survival. The wall rises continuously. Intensity increases as the system levels up.
- ๐ง Zen Mode: A calculated challenge. The wall only rises after a set number of moves. Use this for precision and long-term strategy.
๐ฑ Interface Optimization
- Mobile Protocol: Uses relative touch tracking—drag anywhere on screen to move the piece without your finger blocking the view.
- Desktop Protocol: Direct crosshair snapping for high-precision mouse input.
- Audio: 100% synthetic real-time audio. Enabled sound is recommended to monitor system warnings and level transitions.
