Unwrapped
Unwrapped 🧩
Shift, wrap, and un-scramble words, letters, or numbers!
Unwrapped is a sleek, modern twist on the classic sliding tile puzzle. There are no borders here—it’s a toroidal grid where pieces that slide off one edge seamlessly wrap around to the other side. Your goal? Reconstruct the scrambled board back into its original, perfect order.
🎮 How to Play
- Shift & Wrap: Use the outer arrows to slide entire rows and columns. Watch as tiles pushed off the edge reappear on the opposite side.
- Unscramble: Maneuver the tiles to reconstruct the original target pattern shown at the top of the screen.
- Solve: Get completely stuck? Hit the solve button and watch the built-in algorithm untangle the board for you.
✨ Key Features
🧠 Three Game Modes
- Words: Reconstruct a grid of randomized dictionary words.
- Letters: Order the board sequentially from A-Z (and AA-ZZ for larger grids).
- Numbers: The classic mathematical ordering challenge.
📐 Scalable Challenge
Whether you want a quick mental stretch or a serious challenge, you can scale the grid from a simple 3x3 all the way up to a massive 8x8 puzzle.
🔀 Custom Scrambles & Modifiers
- Difficulty: Choose between Easy, Normal, or Hard scramble depths.
- Link Pairs: Toggle this modifier to lock rows and columns together, forcing them to move two at a time for a completely different puzzle dynamic.
🤖 Built-in Auto-Solver
Hit a wall? Unwrapped features a custom-built pathfinding solver that can automatically calculate the solution and rewind the board right before your eyes. Unless it's too hard, and runs out of time. 🫨
🎨 Clean & Customizable UI
Play your way with a highly polished interface. Toggle between Light and Dark modes, adjust the font and colours to fit your vibe. The game also tracks your lifetime stats, moves, and solve times!
